|
Self-contained, automatic and temperature controlled activation system. The FirePro BTA V3 performs the functions of fire detection and automatic activation of the fire extinguishing aerosol generator with the use of a bulb thermal sensor at a pre-selected temperature. The liquid in the bulb expands when the surrounding temperature increases. At the predetermined operating temperature the glass bulb ‘bursts’, causing the thermal mechanism to actuate the built-in firing pin, which in turn initiates the capsule, and ignites the solid compound of the Thermal Actuator. The Thermo Bulb is a fast response unit featuring improved strength and sensitivity characteristics. Response Time Index RTI 24m/s. The mechanism that remains in a static and not a dynamic load has undergone an aging test and has a product life of 15 years. |

| FirePro Aerosol Generators for ATEX APPLICATIONS
FirePro ATEX Condensed Aerosol Generators are designed to operate in potentially explosive atmospheres. Local authorities have the responsibility for defining a Class, Zone, and Group classification for specific areas. The classification given to a particular zone, and its size and location, depends on the likelihood of an explosive atmosphere occurring and its persistence if it does. Areas classified into zones (0, 1, 2 for gas-vapor-mist and 20, 21, 22 for dust) must be protected from effective sources of ignition.
